House of Renew has been in business in Birmingham, Michigan since 1976. Our scope of work includes, but not limited to, Hummel, Royal Doulton, Roseville, Boehm, Herend, Meissen, Wedgewood, Tiffany, Lalique, Daum, Baccarat, Steuben and Waterford. We are the only Lladro-authorized repair center in MIchigan able to get replacement parts direct from Lladro. We bronze baby shoes and other keepsakes and engrave. We retin copper pots to give them years more of service. We can restore your pre-Columbian sculpture or your two year-old's plaster handcast. We fix rim chips on your goblets in time for your next dinner party. Our "Tiffany-approved" metalsmiths buff and polish the family's sterling flatware (and fix the one that went down the disposal!) to present to the new bride and groom. We have a consignment gallery for unique presents and "instant heirlooms".
We are now serving second and third generations in the area (including some very recognizable names) and still there are people who have no idea such a business exists. Bring us your broken treasures and let our friendly and talented staff explain what we can do to return your piece to its former glory.
We are located one block south of Maple (15 Mile Rd.) off Old Woodward in the Downtown section of Birmingham. We are inside the Merrillwood building, entering at the copper and green awning, on the 2nd floor mezzanine. We are easily accessed on the second floor by elevator, escalator or stairs. Free two hour parking at the structure across the street.
